Judy Hartley is an independent performance consultant/facilitator specializing in leadership and team development. Judy has designed and developed her own baseline supervisory leadership training curriculum entitled Foundations of Leadership – Supervising for Performance. Judy has also helped to create several other leadership development series including the Learning to Lead in Manufacturing Series
Judy’s industry experience spans manufacturing, financial services, information technology, engineering, healthcare, communications/broadcasting, food processing, education and government. As client needs dictate, Judy functions as a designer/developer of customized training programs, as a facilitator in the classroom, as a trainer of other trainers, a team/process facilitator, or as an independent advisor on how to create and maintain customer-focused, high-performance/high commitment work environments
Maximizing Team Performance -- Approaches, Tools, Techniques that Work The March presentation will be an overview of techniques and tools to promote effective teamwork at multiple levels within an organization. Participants will learn about typical barriers to teamwork as well as critical success factors.
Participants will also be provided hands-on practical tools for assessing teamwork effectiveness and for improving teams and teamwork as it relates to five critical areas required for teamwork effectiveness: (1) Clear/shared purpose and goals; (2) Clear roles and responsibilities; (3) Effective group processes (team communications, decision making, recognition/rewards); (4) Effective interpersonal relationships, and (5) Effective inter-group relations. Case examples will be shared regarding different approaches and results.
