The COVID-19 pandemic has had an unprecedented impact on the healthcare system, government agencies, businesses, and society as a whole.  With a crisis like this one, with so many uncertainties, unforeseen change, and with so much stress, it is important to learn and apply proven strategies for managing the stress.

 

It is imperative to recognize and respond effectively to the emotional and psychological impacts this pandemic has had on you, your coworkers, your organizations, and the community.  There are many emotions that are triggered by such a crisis, including fear, anxiety, helplessness, and isolation.  We all need to identify the stages of change and transition, and handle the stress, and learn new work behaviors that guarantee success.
