Event Description:
Education and update on current issues/news/regulatory changes that effect small to mid size employers when it comes to group health/life/disability insurance. Discussion on open enrollment results regarding ACA and trends with health insurance.
Objectives:
1. Recap open enrollment results
2. Discuss implications of employers with regards to ACA/COBRA
3. Discuss trends in group market with regards to pricing/numbers/etc.
Presenters:
Darrel Pulak: Darrel is owner of Baxter Insurance Group. He is a Pillager High School and University of St Thomas graduate. He as worked as an investment advisor from 1993-1995, then became an insurance agent in 1995.
Brenda Woitalla: Brenda is a licensed insurance agent with Baxter Insurance Group. She has been licensed since 1989 Brenda works primarily with life,health, Medicare and small group customers. She works very closely with HR to make sure COBRA is taken care of properly and employees are added and terminated correctly from their plans.
